About Me

Jacob has pursued the art and science of strength and conditioning ever since high school where he sought to solve his own deficiencies in athleticism and chronic injuries. Years of independent research and experimentation in an attempt to solve his own needs lead him into coaching early on.
Jacob currently works as the head strength and conditioning coach for Forge FC of the CPL (Canadian Premier League), a role that also puts him in charge of sport science and workload monitoring. Simultaneously, he provides virtual year-round training for Western Women's Hockey (OUA). Previously, he has worked as a strength and conditioning coach at King's Christian Collegiate (OSBA), McMaster University (varsity basketball/football & youth training programs), Burloak Prep Basketball Academy, and various private facilities/programs.
He has received his Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC), BioForce Certified Conditioning Coach (CCC), Precision Nutrition (Pn1), and Canada Basketball NCCP certifications.
Sport performance and the human body are endlessly complex systems, but there are fundamental principles that can lead to the results we desire. Jacob is driven by pursuing mastery in these areas to provide the best results and training experience to everyone he works with.
